The Minnesota Charter Bus Operator's Association offers the following membership categories

Operator Members

Operator Members are defined as individuals or companies who or which holds a Minnesota Charter permit, or which operates a charter bus service incidental to a regular-route certificate.  Members in this category are entitled to one vote per company.

Contractor Member Dues Schedule

Dues are based on your fleet make-up at the start of the membership year.

Base Membership Fee (does not include fleet count): $250.00 (rate as of January, 2026)

Plus:

Vehicle Fees:

• $25 per each full-sized charter bus, and
• $15 per each mini-bus
• No Charge per each school bus or limo, however, data is required for MCBOA market research

Dues are not to exceed $675 per operator member company

Definitions of Applicable Vehicles

• Charter bus: defined as a passenger transportation vehicle at 30' long or more
• Mini-bus: defined as a passenger transportation vehicle sized at 29' and under

Associate Members

Associate members are defined as any company or individual which provides products or services to voting members.

This is a non-voting membership category and annual dues are $300.00 (rate as of January, 2026)
